A criminal trial can be a very complicated process. It is important that you understand the basic steps in a criminal trial. This will be important as you prepare for your presentation at the end of the WebQuest.

Now that you understand the process, it is important to know the different types of defenses that perpetrators of crime use. In the hypothetical scenario you have been arrested and have the possibility of going to trail. You need to have some idea about your possible options for a defense. Research the different types of defenses used by perpetrators of crime. Create a basic T-chart to illustrate and explain the different types of defenses.
